A Star For Jesus by Crystal Bowman

Book review of A Star For Jesus by Crystal Bowman (Zonderkidz) by papertapepins

Beautiful illustrations and playful rhyming text bring the story of Jesus’ birth alive for young children in A Star for Jesus. This board book, die-cut to enhance the shape of the star on the front cover, is a perfect gift to help little ones understand that "God made the stars and put them up high to shine down on earth from up in the sky." But long ago God made a special star. He put it in the sky to send a message: "Jesus our Savior has come …"

This is a die cut board book for young kids explaining what the story of the birth of Jesus, centred around the star that proclaimed his birth. This sturdy, high quality book will stand the test of time ... and small, grubby fingers! The sweet illustrations and soft colours will appeal as well. There's not a lot of text, but it explains the story well. We love this book and will add it to our special Christmas collection.

I received this book from Zonderkidz for the purpose of an honest review. My opinion is my own. Thank you Zonderkidz.
